Biography

1977 -- Triceéa Bienvenida began training in Flamenco, Spanish Classical and Regional dances with the international Maestra Patri Nader “La Australiana.” In 1978 Triceea joined Ms. Nader’s company, "Bailes de Espana", for concerts in the San Francisco area. She worked closely with the late Flamenco dancer Cruz Luna, guitarist Juan Moro and cantaora Isa Mura.

1980 -- Studied and taught with Flamenco Maestra Luisa Triana in Las Vegas, Nevada. Triceéa performed with Luisa Triana’s "Teatro Espanol de Nevada" and dancers José Molina and Emelio Prados. Triceéa assisted Triana with Flamenco classes at the University of Nevada.

1981 -- Formed “Juerga Flamenca” in Colorado with dancers Deborah Romero, Debra Belo, and Flamenco guitarist Miguel Espinoza and performs in venues in northern Colorado.  

1986 -- Perfomed with Senor Rodarte’s “El Coyote” and La Linda Xamara in a show produced by Eva Cernik in Denver and Boulder.  

1988 --  Began performing with Flamenco Maestro Guitarist René Heredia in Denver. Performances have included the Mayor’s Ball (twice) in Denver, The Spanish Consul at the historic Brown Palace Hotel, Fiddler’s Green, Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, Boulder Theater,  and the Broncos. She has toured to San Francisco, Kansas City, and Colorado towns of Aspen, Vail, and Glenwood Springs with Maestro Heredia.   She also plays castanets on Heredia’s CD “Flamenco in the Americas.”  Triceéa continued to perform as guest artist with Maestro Heredia through 2009.
